Who We Are

HISTORICAL BASIS

We are a National Supercomputing Laboratory inaugurated in August 2006, which was created to meet the demands of the scientific community in terms of High Performance Computing. We started participating in projects using our own infrastructure, which yields has yielded our own income, to maintain the Supercomputer Center in operation

During 2007 it was constituted as a National Laboratory, as a result of a call by CONACYT for the creation of National Laboratories, which allowed its consolidation as an autonomous, dynamic and innovative system, with a regional, national and international leadership presence. The CNS provides comprehensive solutions made to measure in information and communications technologies, provides high capacity technological solutions to satisfy the most demanding or innovative needs of society, and develops large-scale projects. This under a scheme of:

  • Self sustainability
  • Infrastructure constantly updated
  • Service innovation
  • Highly qualified staff oriented to the use of resources

OBJECTIVE

We are a National Supercomputer Laboratory belonging to IPICYT, dedicated to provide comprehensive solutions in an innovative way with Information and Communication Technologies with high added value services.

To be a technological center of national excellence that, through its services and products, helps to promote and develop:
